Tianjin, Oct 18 (Xinhua) — Xi Jinping, General Secretary of the CPC, President of China, and Chairman of the Central Military Commission, recently issued an important directive regarding the establishment of China Resource Recycling Group Co., Ltd. He stressed that this is a major decision by the CPC to strengthen the green, low-carbon, and circular development of the economy and to comprehensively promote the construction of a Beautiful China.

Xi emphasized that the company must fully, accurately, and comprehensively implement the new development concepts, deeply follow the strategy of comprehensive conservation, uphold the principles of recycling and turning waste into valuable resources, and prioritize innovation-driven and open cooperation. The goal is to smooth the resource recycling chain, establish a national functional platform for resource recycling and reuse, and enhance the quality and efficiency of the country’s economic circulation. This effort will contribute positively to advancing the Chinese-style modernization and the national rejuvenation project.

Li Qiang, member of the CPC Politburo Standing Committee and Premier of the State Council, also issued directives, emphasizing the need to implement the CPC’s decisions and Xi Jinping’s important instructions, to focus on the national strategy, and to build a multi-level, highly efficient resource recycling system. He called for the implementation of a new round of large-scale equipment upgrades and old-for-new consumer goods initiatives and for the construction of a world-class resource recycling industry group to ensure national resource security and to drive high-quality economic and social development.

The founding ceremony of China Resource Recycling Group Co., Ltd. was held in Tianjin on the morning of the 18th. Zhang Guoqing, member of the CPC Politburo and Vice Premier of the State Council, conveyed Xi Jinping’s directive and Li Qiang’s instructions at the meeting and delivered a speech. He stated that it is essential to fully implement Xi Jinping’s instructions and Li Qiang’s directives, remain focused on the company’s core mission, and ensure the group’s functional positioning. It is necessary to strengthen technological innovation, management innovation, and business model innovation, to smooth the resource recycling chain, and to improve the level of resource recycling and utilization.
